About Jordan O’Donnell

Jordan O’Donnell joined the Local Q staff in March 2011 writing “The Other Side” posts.  These posts cover paranormal occurrences, aliens, creepy happenings and everything that goes bump in the night. He graduated from Hannibal High School, and moved onto study screenwriting at Columbia College in Chicago, Ill. Jordan has also studied psychology, communications and film at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

While he attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, Jordan served as the news director for the school’s radio station, KCOU. Jordan organized the coverage of the 2008 presidential election that led to the station earning two Communicator Awards. On weekends, Jordan worked for the Zimmer Radio Group as an overnight DJ.

O’Donnell has interned with Sirius-XM Satellite Radio, working in production for the popular Ron and Fez Show. He then moved to Los Angeles to work as a production assistant for the television shows “24” and “Prison Break.”  In the summer of 2010 Jordan lived in Austin, Texas, to work as an arts department assistant on the film “Austin High.”

Though O’Donnell enjoys working behind the scenes, recently he has found himself acting. In November 2010, he starred as Mark Twain in the Hannibal Community Theatre’s production of “Sam and Laura.” O’Donnell also was featured in a leading role in the film “Villainy for the Lonely.”  The film was a shot in Quincy, Ill., and produced by Table 16 productions.
