Arty Party will walk attendees through watercolor project

HANNIBAL, Mo. -- The next Arty Party at the Hannibal Arts Council offers something different.

The Liquidity Arty Party will be held at 7 p.m. on April 14 at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main St. Participants will work with local artist Brenda Beck Fisher to create a painting using wax-resist, liquid watercolor and rubbing alcohol to create flowing patterns of color. A frame for the finished painting is included in the price of the program.

No art experience required, as Arty Party programs are designed for those simply looking to have a good time with good company while creating art.

Program fees for the Arty Party is $25, and it is open to those 21 and older. Participants are welcome to bring snacks and beverages. HAC provides all project supplies, a project leader, plates, cups and napkins.
